The Rundown of Big Fish Ministries Thrift Shops
Our thrift stores first opened their doors 10 years ago at the inception of Big Fish Ministries and have been a core component of our ministry from the onset. They remain the primary source of funding for our Christ-centered recovery programs.
We currently operate two locations of our thrift shops, both within Foley, AL.

Our thrift stores offer a range of goods – from housewares (dishes, lamps, home decor, picture frames, etc.) to clothing (women’s, men’s, and children’s) to furniture (couches, chairs, tables, etc.) and more!
All items come gently used, so you can be confident in the quality of our stores’ selection. We aim to provide affordable options for those within our community and run a sale every week, so you don’t have to sacrifice quality for cost.

The Purpose Behind Our Thrift Shops
When you make a purchase, you can be assured that your money is going towards a good cause. Proceeds from every single purchase go towards funding the essential services of Big Fish Ministries. These services include free resources for our community like our weekly recovery services (GRO), operation costs for men’s and women’s long-term recovery housing, and helping program graduates to successfully transition to life outside of recovery.
Our recovery programs provide comprehensive care that includes recovery classes, counseling, case management, legal advocacy, biblical teaching, educational assistance, job skills training, and more. We have served thousands of men and women in search of freedom from substance abuse across South Baldwin County.
In addition to funding our ministry, Big Fish Ministry Thrift Shops provide jobs for those in recovery and bring affordable clothing options to those within the Gulf Shores community.
