Since Big Fish Ministries was founded in 2014, we have helped over thirty men and women find true freedom from addiction and other self-defeating lifestyles through Christ. We’ve also provided over 28,550 nights of shelter and 85,650 hot meals to broken individuals in our community. With more than 80 percent of our ministry’s funding currently generated through our Big Fish Ministries Thrift Store operations, we have realized more than ever the need for raising financial support through other sources – especially with the impact of Covid-19 on thrift store sales.

We are now offering the Big Fish Ministries Freedom Partners program which will help provide a foundation of support for our ministry to continue meeting the increased demand for faith-based recovery on the Alabama Gulf Coast. This program allows you to invest in lasting change locally – right where we all live, work, play, and worship. The goal of our ministry is to produce independent, law-abiding citizens who are contributing members of our community.

Our Freedom Partners program features three different giving opportunities:

• Freedom Friends ($100 per month) allow us to provide men and women with services such as faith-based recovery classes, individual and group counseling, case management, biblical teaching, mentorship, life-skills training, and job readiness training.
• Freedom Advocates ($200 per month) directly impact the success of our graduates as they recover and re-enter mainstream society. These gifts ensure that graduates have the resources they continue living God-honoring lives.
• Freedom Champions ($300 per month) generously support the monthly expenses necessary to operate our 24/7 men’s and women’s recovery programs.
