Association of Christian Recovery Ministries (ACRM)Big Fish Ministries (BFM) is proud to be recognized as a certified member of the Association of Christian Recovery Ministries (ACRM). Our Christ-centered nonprofit has joined the ranks of more than 40 recovery centers in Alabama and beyond that have committed to providing high-quality care that is financially sustainable and adheres to industry standards.

The mission of ACRM is to provide Christian recovery ministries with advocacy opportunities and training to help develop, improve and evaluate their programs. The goals of certification include:

  1. Protecting the program participant’s mental, physical, and spiritual well-being through safe and healthy environments.
  2. Facilitating ethical, moral, and legal Christian recovery ministry operations.
  3. Ensuring local autonomy of Christian recovery ministries with minimal restrictions.
  4. Reducing ministry liabilities and improving efficiencies, contributing toward financial sustainability.
  5. Supporting public trust through the application of industry-accepted best practices.

Securing ACRM membership is one way our ministry is building trust in our south Baldwin County community. We are honored to be a part of this network of like-minded organizations helping people find freedom from addiction through a relationship with Jesus. Our residential recovery programs empower broken men and women to find hope and return to society as productive, responsible citizens with a vision to pursue God’s purpose for their lives.
