International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose. We invite you to join us on Saturday, August 31, 2024, as we remember those who have died and acknowledge the loss of family and friends left behind. The event begins at 10 a.m. at Heritage Park in downtown Foley.

Our time of community remembrance and activation will include live music, food and vendor booths. Representatives from Big Fish Ministries will be on-site to answer questions about our Christ-centered addiction recovery services for both men and women. Our goal is to help people fulfill God’s vision for their lives through recovery classes, counseling, biblical teaching, mentorship, job readiness training and more.

This year’s IOAD theme is Together We Can, which highlights the strength of coming together and standing in support of those connected to the tragedy of overdose. Our voices are stronger, louder and more impactful when we raise them in unity.

Be sure to save the date and invite your friends! If you have questions about the event, please get in touch.
