The women’s program at Big Fish Ministries (BFM) is excited to announce that we’re adding new life skills partnerships to our program!

First, we’re partnering with the South Baldwin Literacy Council (SBLC). The life skills training from SBLC will teach soft skills such as computer training and will also include a budgeting workshop.

Our partnership with SBLC will bring individualized Workforce Ready Training, which includes résumé building and mock interviews to equip them for the careers ahead of them!

Additionally, GED tutoring will be available for those in need of education.

Thanks to our recent partnership with Parenting First, BFM residents will now have the ability to attend classes with court-approved, DHR-approved parenting curriculum. Taught by a representative of Parenting First, these classes will be available for both the women and men in our recovery programs.

The skills training, coupled with our classes geared toward freedom in Christ, will equip our students to become even more productive, God-honoring, members of our community.

Our new partnership with Pure Life Pharmacy makes free medications available for our residents.

One of our students had the opportunity to give her testimony, vocalizing for the first time how God has restored her during her time here. It was beautiful!

Gulf Coast Media called afterwards, interviewed her, and is putting her story in the local paper.

God is on the move here at BFM! He is opening doors of opportunity not just for our staff to pour into the students, but for the local community to support them as well. Furthermore, there have been many breakthroughs in the hearts and families of our students.

God is a God of RESTORATION! We hope you enjoy the gallery below highlighting pictures of God’s redemptive work in our women’s program.
