We are already using our new women’s transitional home and welcome you to join us on Thursday, November 11 at 11 a.m. for our official ribbon-cutting ceremony of this much-needed new community resource.
During this event, we’ll hear from our Founder and Executive Director, Isaac Stooksberry, about what this new resources means to the Alabama Gulf Coast. Tours of the facility and light refreshments will be provided.
This newly renovated home is not only beautiful but also fills a great need. Our transitional women’s home provides a safe place for women to transition from the 24/7 residential ministry at Big Fish Ministries back into mainstream society. This new addition also allows us to take 6-8 more women into our long-term, Christ-centered recovery program.
Galatians 5:1 tells us, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.“ Transitional living empowers our residents to stay accountable and free as they grow more independent in the recovery process.
We encourage people who are interested in attending the ceremony to RSVP at contact@bigfishministries.org.
